Chocolate, Almond and Coconut Protein Balls

Protein Balls

Recently the whole protein ball craze has taken off reason being they are super easy to make, inexpensive and unlike many so called ‘healthy treats’ that claim to be tasty these actually are full of deliciousness.

Why protein balls…..

They contain oats which are full of soluble fibre that will keep you fuller for longer. The nut butter is packed with good fats and protein and by adding more protein to your diet you will stabilise sugar levels for hours keeping you full ad bouncing with energy. The protein balls are packed full of antioxidants, nutrients and minerals such as magnesium, folate and potassium. This all contributes to a healthy body and mind





  • 1 cup of gluten free whole oats
  • 4 tablespoons of almond and coconut butter
  • 5 large medjool dates
  • 2 tablespoons of chocolate plant protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon of bee pollen
  • 1 small sachet of chia seeds
  • A little water if preferred




Mix all ingredients together and blend in a food processer or blender

Lay the ingredients out on a tray and the roll into balls

Leave in the refrigerator for 30mins
