You will need 2 green peeled plantains, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Preheat your oven to 400°F, and slice the plantains thinly. Mix all of the other ingredients well, and then toss the slices with the mixture. Bake them for 15 to 17 minutes, turning each of the slices over halfway through.

Sweet Potato Chips

Sweet potatoes are abundant in vitamin A and manganese, and sweet potato chips will definitely appeal to most lovers of potato chips. You can make these at home and make them very flavorful by using a spice blend. You will just need a large sweet potato, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon of cumin powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of paprika. Simply blend all of the spices, and then slice the sweet potato as thinly as possible. Arrange them on baking sheets, and then cook them for 50 minutes. Turn them all over, and then bake for an additional 30 to 40 minutes.

The recipe is so easy; you will only need 1 large taro, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Slice and peel the taro, and cut it into slices that are 1/4 inch thick. Brush them with olive oil, and sprinkle the salt on them. Bake them for 10 minutes at 400°F. You can also buy these chips in the store.
